Join Mountain Mentors Board of Directors
We are looking for three to five people to join the Mountain Mentors board of directors.
Three year committement
Volunteer working board
Contributing 10-15 hours a month (or less for some positions)
Must live in the Greater Vancouver Area or Sea to Sky Region

Specific roles
We are recruiting for three specific roles:

We are also looking to create new board roles to help add capacity to the team. We encourage anyone with time, energy, and passion to apply. Specific skills we are looking for include:
EDI experience (lived or professional)
Event production
Governance
Fundraising
Non-profit leadership and strategy
Non-profit operations
Community engagement and partnerships
Data management and analysis
Other skills you think would help Mountain Mentors be even better
General responsibilities include
Attending monthly board meetings on Zoom (usually on a weekday evening)
Participating in the strategic planning and fundraising for the organization
Serving as a representative of Mountain Mentors and positively advocating for the organization in the community
Leading specific initiatives or portfolios based on role
Staying informed about organizational matters, preparing for meetings, and reviewing and commenting on materials as required
Maintaining good working relationships with board members, staff and volunteers
