Mountain Mentors is hosting its third community art show at the Brackendale Art Gallery (BAG) in Squamish.

This show celebrates the creativity among the Mountain Mentors community and spreads awareness about Mountain Mentors' program. Both emerging and established, professional and recreational, serious and silly (and everything in between) artists are encouraged to apply! You must be a Mountain Mentors alumn or current cohort member to apply.

Apply to be part of the show

We are looking for Mountain Mentors program alumni who wish to submit a body of work to the show. Unlike past shows, artists may submit a group of existing work OR a proposal for work that will be created over the summer. The deadline to apply is May 31st, 11:59pm.

If you are selected, a curator will be in touch to determine the number of works you may bring, based on the display area you will tentatively be allocated.

If filling out this form is a barrier, please email community@mountainmentors.org to arrange an alternative submission format. We are happy to accommodate a video submission, video call or alternative format as needed.

Since the event will be at the BAG, we are hosting a variety of events in October. Artists will be encouraged to attend events to promote the art show and the MM program. More information to be announced. You may provide feedback at the end of this application.

Events in May 2025

Kick off the start of your sea-to-sky summer! Mingle with other outdoorsy pals, find a new adventure buddy, and create your own summer vision board — a collage featuring your hopes and dreams for the upcoming season! All while sharing some food, potluck-style, and crafting up your future adventures.

This event is for anyone who has been through one of Mountain Mentors programs previously, as well as those who have applied to the summer program but are waiting to hear back if they got in. Every year we have to turn away applicants, and we wanted to provide a space to connect with the broader community.
