AdventureSmart

Started in British Columbia in 2004 by the BC Search and Rescue Association, and its suite of five programs, is a national prevention program focused on reaching Canadians, and visitors to Canada, who participate in outdoor recreational activities.

AdventureSmart combines online and on-site awareness with targeted outreach in order to reduce the number and severity of Search and Rescue Incidents in Canada.

Through the collaborative efforts of our various partners, regional coordinators, and volunteers, AdventureSmart is dedicated to encouraging participants to “Get informed and go outdoors”.

Climb On Equipment

Located in the heart of downtown Squamish, BC, Climb On Equipment is a climbing specialty retailer and consignment store. We stock a huge selection of climbing gear and apparel, as well as alpine camping and work at heights equipment. We are a trusted member of the climbing community and have been providing advice and expertise with quality service since 1992.

Climb On Equipment supports our mentorship pairs with the equipment they need to achieve their mentorship objectives.

The Federation of Mountain Clubs of British Columbia (FMCBC) is the only province-wide umbrella organization dedicated to protecting and maintaining access to BC’s backcountry. Since 1972, we have represented the interests of outdoor clubs from every corner of the province
and have provided a united voice on issues related to non-motorized backcountry recreation.

Mountain Mentors is a member club of the FMCBC, who has generously supported our fundraising initiatives and programming.
